Osteoarthritis (OA)
Common form of arthritis that affects the joints, causing pain, stiffness, and inflammation.
Overview
Osteoarthritis is the gradual breakdown of cartilage that cushions the ends of bones. It most commonly affects the knees, hips, hands and spine, and it is the leading cause of mobility limitation in older adults — though it is far from inevitable or untreatable.
How we treat it
We combine imaging-guided assessment, in-office injections where appropriate, weight and activity strategy, and physical therapy to preserve function and delay surgical intervention.
Appointments
We schedule by phone or physician referral.
Call the office and our front desk will find you a time, confirm your insurance and tell you exactly what to bring to your first visit.
