Shannon Strenn, PA-C

Shannon is a board certified physician assistant who grew up in Virginia and completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Virginia Tech. She then spent time working inpatient on a medical/surgical unit and then outpatient with an orthopedic surgeon.

Later, she moved to Atlanta and graduated from Mercer University's Physician Assistant Program in 2022 with her masters in medical science and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honors Society. While still in school she completed a clinical rotation with Rattandeep Singh, MD, and developed a passion for rheumatology.

Eager to see patients, she started almost immediately here at Buckhead Rheumatology after graduation. She has a strong desire to educate her patients on their disease state and treatment options. She values shared decision-making with her patients.
